  2. Nice collection of birds. What are the mixed coloured pigeons in the video (not the tipplers, there were a few reds and others) Thanks
  3. Hi I went to look for these Calcium tablets but couldnt find any in Sainsbury's. I do give my rollers grit and the minerals. Does anyone have any spare that they can post? Pm me if you can. Many thanks
  4. Great video, thanks
  5. Hi storm roller, Like the runt a nice colour. I seen 2 at the Peterborough show and was suprised at the size of these pigeons. How many you got and do you let them out?
  6. Good video and thanks for posting
  7. Like your pigeons Ron all the best with them
  8. I keep the rollers as well Racingsprint. Haven't got any pictures at the moment though. Whereabouts are you based? Nice rollers Grizzler, is that an almond coloured on in the 1st picture?
  9. Read about it whilst at work, shocking!
  10. Today I login and find all my PM's have returned and my posts from before.
  11. The rollers I got from darren deacon are from Blueron on the forum. They are mainly black and whites plus one silverish one.
  12. Heard of Moseley Storm Roller, good roller man. I have few mixed families K Johnston (derby), darren deacon and few others. I want to see which rollers turn out good. Have ordered 40 MRPC rings. Are yoy part of any roller club Storm Roller? Good point Lawrie 20 birds in the kit is what most clubs allow in flying competition teams. Few older birds in the team is good because the young rollers will follow the old birds. Seen it with my rollers.
  13. Just keep flying them or breed as many as you can and then let them fly. Keeping rollers involves a lot of patience along with other flying breeds. Good luck Mark and keep us updated. Storm Rollers, what family are your rollers from. Good to see more roller pigeon keepers. I am based in Coventry

Sorry to here about your op and giving up the pigeons. Hope you get well soon. The shed looks great and I just told my dad today about the offer. Would have took the shed but I am in Coventry.
  15. Very nice rollers Mark. Are you a member of any roller pigeon clubs?
  16. Hi Mark, Rolling can vary, some roll quick whilst others take a while to develop. Also if this the first time you let them out they have to get use to the flying routine.
  17. Nice rollers Grizzler really like the black grizzle. Do you fly them, if yes are part of any clubs? Racing Spirit it would be hard to get rollers off someone as most pigeon keepers would have paired up their rollers.
  18. Thats a long way from me. Are there any roller clubs in Scotland? If there are sign up to them, you will get good advice from the people there. I know peter4pm on this forum is from Scotland. He might have a few rollers. Ask him. Silvers are not hard to get. They are a popular colour. Try asking the guy you purchased the current pair to breed you some.
  19. Why don't you get rings from the local club Ron for your rollers. Try joining the MRPC or the local Leicester one.
  20. Hi Hazza For your rollers try joining the midlands roller pigeon club. I live in coventry and joined the local club nearby to me. Here is the number for the club secretary Neville Hackett : 01215509415 If you join tell him Ahmed from Coventry referred you to the club. He knows who I am. Good luck and let me know how you get on.
  21. I thought my account was closed as I couldn't login yesterday and today afternoon.
  22. Thanks for the replies people. Sorry about the typo
  23. Hi Good to see another person that keeps rollers. My advice is that you join a roller club that's nearby to your area. Once you done that get in touch with a few members of that club and see how their rollers fly. Also it would be good to go to flying competitions so you can see which rollers are your cup of tea. Stick with one family of rollers and then build on that. Don't go round buying rollers from here there and everywhere as you will make a mistake like newbies by having a mixed load of rollers. I have learnt a lot since keeping the rollers with my dad. You said that you only have 2 pairs at the moment. I say breed a few youngsters and see what happens. Don't fly your pairs out yet keep them as stock birds. I live in Coventry (west midlands) whereabouts are you based? Good luck and I look forward to your posts on here
  24. So if I ordered a 25kg bag of food for the pigeons, Taylor's loft would deliver it? Also is postage free or you have to pay? I am asking this as my dad was interested in some products on the website and today my internet is not working and I am using my mobile. Thanks

Thanks for letting me know Josh. It has been a while and I was gutted to lose this roller. I thought maybe someone nearby had it come in there loft as I don't know many pigeon fanciers in my area. The rollers aren't the biggest of pigeons. I recall that when I lost a roller and it joined a group of strays which live less than a minute away from my house. When I got it back it looked like it was moulting but I guess it got into a few fights. I guess life goes on.
