You were right gangster it was a hawk, kept birds in the aviary today and worked at home, the tell tale sign when the birds cock one one eye to the sky and stay very still, there it was getting harassed by crows Thing about nature is hawks raise there young at this time becuase everything is producing young and pigeons are easy picking all lined up on the roof

Thanks for the avice, will try and let them out at different times but this is hard when your busy

Hi loads of crows across at the mill but never seem to venture up to the houses, are crows protected

I lost two birds today for the first time thought, they were out for a good fly till next door found one strewn across her garden when she came in from work. never seen a hawk, and don't have a cat problem A loft a mile up the road is struck all the time The bird was left on the grass. The bird was flattened out and its back area stripped, I think this is something a hawk would do but not sure
