The show I was at today had both types there, showing and flying :-/

So what you are saying a bird has to be healthy to moult and throw feathers all over the place, maybe it is the other way about. These are two of the birds that never moulted the last two years :-/

In the past, I heard the pigeon boys saying Boxing Day was pairing day :-/ :-/ :-/

Last year and the year before we had hardly any birds moulting, this year they were falling to bits, never seen so much feathers. Could it be something we are all feeding them, treating them with or the bad weather that caused such a heavy moult this year???

Naw, I had organisers permission, they even suggested at one stage to lift cage fronts so I get better pictures

We do not keep this type plus they do not sell at this show as per the DEFRA Ruling, but I am going to buy some tomorrow from a guy I met who breeds exhibition fantails. I bought a pair off him before and they turned out to be cocks, he now has two hens for me, I will post pics of them tomorrow

Here are some of the birds from the show today

You are right messages should be posted on the right boards, some do get posted in the wrong place and some do off in a tangent for many reason including banter, but we all add our bit in at times, even moderators as well as members. I notice that you Bruno are threatening to delete, where as other moderators just move the post, what is the Webmasters view on this, or is this just a personal decision. The problem with the delete buttons you personally then decide what we say and control the forum. On occasions you have been right but on occasions you have wrong in some member’s opinion by removing serious points that you consider out of order. Moving it allows the conversation to carry on elsewhere where as deleting it wrongly only aggravates the situation I have asked the Webmaster if it is fair that Moderators should be allowed to wear two hats, a personal one that gets involved in the threads, and then switch it to an official one when they don’t like how the thread is going or questioning their onion Webmaster has at least two names on here and I hope he uses one for personal views and one for official views. Accepting a balanced view forum Some seam to think that banter is ruining the site; where as some think it keeps the site alive I bet out of the two thousand members you have say ten that banter constantly and ten that complain constantly Out of two thousand members, we have one thousand that post and one thousand that never post. And so on, this makes it the well balanced site that all of us enjoy in our own way with a common interest “PIGEONS”
