  1. This link is all I got http://www.pigeon-lung.co.uk/articlefiles/art_keithmott.html
  2. I bet they get less than a dollar a fin :'(
  3. Sorry Vic I really have a problem with reading English, but being a Jock and known the world over for being inventors and trail blazers we can adapt even the simple beehive to accomodate pigeons and ETS ;D ;D ;D
  4. I hope so because that is what I plan to do with mine if I go down the ETS road, but I can fly to the lofts if not
  5. Being a lot younger i may start making them, con fine them in an aviary and problem solved regards trapping, although the rule that the ets must be in your loft may be questioned
  6. Sapper stop cofusing people ;D ;D ;D
  7. The guys doing it may be cruel but no doubt some do it due to beat poverty, but I bet the fins are sold to in resturaunts a soup for a whole lot more, no shark fin soup no no need for shark fins :(
  8. Welcome Gandi, why Gandi. Me I make dove cotes, Sapper is a sapper, Carlsberg likes the drink, Lennut was a plumber ;D ;D ;D
  9. We crush the cloves and add to 6 litre container of cold water, leave over night and then we sieve it into a jug and add to drinkers, we then put the fibre that is left into the bath
  10. We went to see Billy this afternoon and great news is he is up to 6st 10lb which is a 4lb increase in a week, good thing is he is off the steroids so this is all natural muscle and body fat :)
  11. It would be really easy to fly widowhood, I think the aviary might be the answer
  12. I am sure I can overcome the trapping of the birds quite easy, or maybe even ETS would be an huge advantage. I like the idea of maybe an aviary covering a bank of hutches, that way you could trap or time into only one part of the aviary
  13. It is not much different regarding the crime statistics despite the deterents, even with the steele boot camps and the death penalty they still commiit crimes from mugging to mass slaughter :-/ Yes we could do with a lot tighter regime in the prisons, but if there was the PC and human rights lawyers would have a field day, Arizona has state and county laws, this camp will be a county prison for smaller time crooks and not the norm YET in Arizona or America
  14. I was told this afternoon that Jack Duckworth off Coronation St is the most famous for promoting this system ;D ;D ;D Beehive will do for me as long as it works for Billy
  15. Apart from his health a lot will depend on his new housing, no plans for racing this year but maybe next all going well
  16. Cheers that's what this link is about, just wondering if there were any more views and ideas:) http://www.pigeon-lung.co.uk/articlefiles/art_keithmott.html
  17. I have been looking at different ways to race birds, if at all possible, for Billy McKechnie, one of the ways suggested was the rabbit hutch system. Anyone used or have more links to this system would be appreciated http://www.pigeon-lung.co.uk/articlefiles/art_keithmott.html
  18. Aye Ben it's a cruel world us humans have created when you see mindless killing for a small piece of a creature, very sad
  19. I wish I had went and seen it when I worked in Arizona, funny think is there is still plenty crime there so it makes you think how desperate or stupid the crooks are :-/ You can even get one of your dozen guns and shoot someone for entering your house but they still try to burgle you, you can carry a gun but you need a special permit to conceal it, anyone over 21 can buy amunition in abundance, I fired over 40 types of gun from .22 hand guns, large bore shot guns and fully automatics on regular liesurely days out in the desert. The problem with crooks and crime they never think they are going to get caught again and again and again ;D ;D ;D
  20. Thanks Rose, and I am sure this will help as well http://www.bradwest.com/acatalog/Aircap_3_Impact.html
  21. Brilliant, I will print it out and take a copy to Billy and one to his consultant
  22. Billy is a fighter and gaining strength all the time, he is greatful for all the support and well wishes from the members on the site, especially for the ones that have taken care of his birds, it really helps I print out some messages and take them in for him to read
  23. Cheers, I hope you like the birds, you have helped Billy a great deal by taking them as they were his best ones
  24. Cheers Paul, I will pass on your well wishes
