  1. Hi there Folks I have just started with pigeons and hope to race y/bs this season . I have joined a club that is a member of the Lanarkshire federation. However I am a wee bit worried ??) as everyone I speak to tell me that it’s the hardest federation to fly in. as there are many great pigeon men competing in it. Has anyone got any sound advice as how I may be able to fly my y/bs successfully in this area. As I don’t want to move to an area that is easier to fly in just yet. Cheers.

  6. I believe I am getting most of my y/b at the end of march beginning of April I am getting them from some of the guys at the club who kindly said they would bread them for me to give me a start
  7. I only want to give the y/b some experience this year hopefully they will race better next year well that is the plan. But just wondered if the natural system would put them behind the y/b on the darkness by a long way.
  8. As previously stated I am going to race y/b this year on the natural system can anyone tell me if this system is at a disadvantage compared to racing y/b on the darkness system . I ask this because I have read that the darkness system makes the young birds mature a lot quicker than the young ones on the natural system
  9. Thanks for the welcome and best wishes guys
  10. Hi everyone, this is the first time I have posted on this site. I joined the site a few months ago. I have been reading lots of extremely intresting comments and articles relating to pigeon racing. Such as the systems used for racing, the management of the wellbing of the pigeons to name a few. I have just started up with the pigeons this year and hope to race y/b I used to have pigeons when I was a kid so I only have limited knowledge. I would just like to take this opportunity to give a big thank you, to all the members who contribute to making this site a fantastic site. I personly have learned a great deal thus far and look forward to learning much more in the future. Thanks Again!!!
