wife takes my lad swining sunday mor and ask me if i wanted to send y/b for toss so i got them ready. and put one y/b who had not be before.when she let them go the new one wont not come out. so she tip up box and he flew out but only to top off her car,(thank god he did not sh88t on it)she them got him up and he was 1st home

well done mate that first toss is the hardest no matter what dist. just take you time mate and enjoy them all comeing home,walk before run.good luck

why thats mate.i have both and have found the rollers help y/b when the frist go out,

we have 9 yb and have been takeing them on 6 mile toss a few of them were messing about when they got home. so what we did was when we feed the others we put them in trap and when food was gone let them back in we made sure they were drinking but no food and keeping our eye on them.well last night we took all 9 and yes the few who were messing about and had no food for 2days were the 1st in.i anewcomer like you mate and its hard to get the food and fly right but ask for help and do not give in

well done to you. i have son(whos 4)and he keeps pigeons and if we lose one its so upseting for him ,so to know there is people like you to help them is great news.i sure if that pigeon makes it home you will have made some ones day(maybe even small child)so BIG THANK YOU

i began our y/b at 3 and let them have a lot of time at that and now they are doing 6 and geting back befor me but i am in no rush to push them .all the best with yours mate

welcome to forum enjoy site mate

being a newcomer i am geting in amess with the flying and feeding.i only have y/b to fly.i was feeding to much to being with and they would fly for a hour but would sit out for a lot more.so i cut down on the feed and mix it to make it light. so now they only fly for 20mins at the most but come right in.i take them on 6miles toss few times aweek and they seam to be doing ok with that.
