over the last couple of days ive noticed at least 2 shelfs have had watery droppings in my ybs section but couldnt identify which bird it was well today i noticed very bad watery droppings and 1 bird with crop full of food from last night,ive taken him out today and placed him in a crate away from the others, all my ybs were treated for canker and befor that were wormed,they are not on darkness,any ideas cheers

but would you send a pair to the same race? ie both cock an hen? could that motivate them to fly back?

how well do you do in your club, nearly all my club race natural but im gunna race widowhood next year just wondered how well you do compared to others in your club who race widowhood or roundabout

oh i c what about race day will you be sending them all or you just sending hens on long distance races?

this was my point as im only flying ybs this year im in no rush and can give 110% to ybs i never have trouble getting them to trap but a guy from my club said they were like ducks compared to his and thats the reason for them only fluttering from floor to loft roof but he did say to add some beans and reduce the bamfords but cheers guys im not worried just hate loose droppings especially when they were as good as my stock birds droppings

ive cut my food down on my ybs and this morning the droppings were loose there getting 1 egg cup of bamfords ybs per bird i cut them down to try and motivate them more my question is will there droppings firm or do i feed more? there droppings were perfect till i reduced there food cheers

yh i know each box needs to be 28 3/4"x14 1/4"x14" but wanted to know what dimensions to give the wood merchants as im paying for a 8x4 sheet of ply wanted to get the most out of it thats all

does anyone know the dimensions so i can have my 8'x4' ply cut to make 4 nest boxes using the plastic widowhood ones i read somewhere on ere u can get it cut to make 4? cheers

update on hen shes fine today, my pots had run out of minerals all that was left was crap grit filled all pots yesterday and they have all had some so lesson learned, also put some in with my ybs which i hadnt befor and there mess this morning was perfect as it had been a little bit watery job done cheers guys

cheers guys ive just checked her id put her in her box she seems better theres grit and pink minerals all year round in loft i also give linseed oil every week she could be ready to lay second round of eggs as young arnt far of moving ive bathed her im going up the farm tomorrow ill buy some multi vits, ill keep you posted if anything else changes thanks again

found 1 of my hens on the floor basically all the cocks having a ride tried moving her but she aint walking normal ? any suggestions shes got 2 young in nest but cocks taking care of them cheers
