  1. Brilliant performance. COngrats.
  2. A kings cup winner.
  3. Thanks very much Eamon.. Im sure Myles Taylor is feeling just a proud, weve been trying to get in touch with him in the last day or so. Im sure we will get hold of him soon, Sammy will be trying today while in work This lad was always worth a 2nd chance. If you seeen the entertainment value alone he gives in the loft fighting with his arch rival... Makes them lads fighting in that ultimate fight club looks like girls with handbags... Thanks for the congrats
  4. Thanks very much Mick. Thanks STB
  5. Thanks very much. Waiting on some sort of confirmation, but have heard nothing from anywhere.. Touchy times to say the least Thanks Ian
  6. Im trying to track down a phone number of a fancier in the Lisburn area, Benson road to be exact. He was the man that bred this years Kings cup winner, and we would like to have a chat with him if possible today many thanks for your help
  7. Thanks Peter... Thanks very much. We will try not to.

  9. Just sitting here with a house full of guests talking about Ronnies fine performance... 10 birds in the can is excpetional.. Ulster lofts, im looking for some help tracking down the person that bred this bird. Im not sure if there is a private message service here, but if you could email me at brsdicie@gmail.com please. Thanks very much.
  10. So a pretty standard summers day there so...
  11. Not looking good for 2nd day birds from the kings cup over here..... Still, we wait and hope...
  12. Phone hasnt stopped once all night... Unreal feeling at the moment, already 4 or 5 in the kitchen drinking tea wanting to hold the champ... Theres a true saying (iv always said) The Kings Cup is 99% pigeon, 1% luck, this bird is a true champion.. WOuld like to thanks all the well wishers that have contacted myself and Jim, just like to say it doesnt get any better than this. It would seem he was 30 yards pm ahead of the next bird, i knew the pigeon has been in great form for the past few weeks, this just proves that he got his small slice of luck yesterday and took advantage. Reilly and Martin
  13. Iv a feeling he wont be going anywhere. I think the person that bred the bird can have a few young ones off him if he wants them, and then he will enjoy the rest of his days in luxury. He has earned his perch. Only wish out good hen wud show up 2moro now with some luck.
  14. Thanks very much.
  15. Funny story to this mate. He was Bred by a man from the north of Ireland, came into us early last yr, and we got him transfered. Iv yet to ever see a bird in 50 yrs of racing to recover so well after races. He won Bude 3 weeks ago, and as you know, that was a stinker, he had his bath next morning, and was chasing hens around the rooftops an hour later. He was 11th open in that race. He also flew the 2 Talbennys, i know it is only 107miles to us, where he was clocked in each of them. He also flew the penzance open, winning 7th club, after 11 hrs on the wing, again, another stinker of a race. After the penzance, he was just bouncing 2 days later, so was left ot his own devices for a few days and we talked about wether to send him or not. I came home from the clocking station and the partner was sitting in the garden said, "look, he cud be ready for the friendship national, marking on tuesday" Not sure if he will win the national or not, but i dont really care, i just wanted him home..
  16. Ronnie is a great fancier, not a shock to see him clock a bird so early.. I just tucked the champion in for the night, with his hen.. I was worried about him today at around 5 o clock he didnt look to healthy, but have to say he looks good enough to go again now... Brilliant creatures.
  17. Heard of 2 in lisburn area, 3 in portadown.. 17 in total last i heard m8.
  18. 3 other birds in the south.. Times ranging from 5-35 till 6-10
  19. Thanks very much.. Cloud 9 is an under statement, regardless of position to see him come over the top of the roof was better than anything else iv ever felt (dont tell the wife that bit)
  20. Clocked at 4-49 today, Reilly and Martin, bray. Same bird that won Bude and Clocked in 3 other channel races this yr, winning 2 other top 5 club positions. Possibly the best moment of my life.
