i hav reported 2 birds so far n the few weeks i been on here,, and both birds were from lanarkshire,,them birds shud not ov been any ;)where near my allotments they shud ov been right far west and i am practically on the east coast so they hav clashed sumwhere enroute,, 1 thing i can tell all ov you,s and that is 1,, my mother in law lives a little village called TOW LAW which i am lead 2 believe thta u lads up in lanarkshire fly ur doo,s from there getin bk 2 my point ,, 1 yr ago i was up there and in the fields was about 3/4 wind turbines ,2,now i went up this yr and theres about 70 wind turbines spaced out all ova the place this is what i think is causin all the losses 2 ur birds and 2 ours cos we have had some pretty bad races 2 and i dnt mean just a few missin i mean some blokes were totally wiped out and they were old birds not yb,s ,,so if we loosin 2/3 yr olds what chance has the yb,s got,,, hope this helps lads and stops all the bickering ;)

ib,,like i said i nva heard ov ur way ok,,,i hav nva used insecticide on any ov my birds and use garlic alot and i hav no lice on my pigeons,,i hav bought birds in that are wick with lice but after a week they gone and i dnt use beddin in my loft ,,so can u explain how come i have no lice on my birds if garlic dnt work and i dnt use insecticides ?

andy,,if u mean bath i hav always used bath salts or pomanganate ( condies crystals lol ) nva heard ov garlic put in water but am not sayin u cant but not heard ov it either

btw andy u can use garlic plus on their corn like i do or u can use cloves ,,, garlic granules or powder in the water but nva put garlic in the bath m8 ;)

yes andy ,,the garlic gets in the bloood stream and lice bite in2 the skin and suck the blood they dnt like the taste ov the garlic in the bloodstream m8 hope this helps ;)

been glorius in newcastle s,west wind till about 2ish went cloudy and overcast but rain stayed off and cleared 2 blue skies so it will give the stragglers bit ov a chance ,,,hope u all got gd returns kev 43 ;)

i got 1 bk ripped open and 2 broken legs m8 got it stitched up by an old fella put it in nest box with a gd layer ov shavens and a pot ov corn and water and after 10 days it,s up and standing no limping or any thing so get it stitched up m8 and will b fine nxt season
