Yep true to form they got it wrong again, phoned my local depot to arrange for a bird to collected on monday person who has the pigeon waits in all afternoon and guess what no one turns up, i rang local depot up again tue's morning they told me that the driver had snapped the key in the ignition of his van so could not collect the said bird, was told they would collect tue's, i rang the gent that had the bird to say collection would be that afternoon, on telling him the reason for them not collecting on monday he chuckled thats not what they told me at my depot it was missed off the pick up forms by mistake, easy done i thought, so why do they not just tell you the truth. AMTRAK GET YOUR STORYS RIGHT ALSO HAVE TO SAY THAT BOTH MYSELF AND THE OTHER KIND FANCIER COMPLAINED TO OUR LOCAL DEPOT'S BIRD TURNED UP TODAY AT NO CHARGE. RAY

Have to say that i do not agree with you on this one if a stray yb comes into our lofts we can tell straight away it is a stranger by the way it act's and look's. we have up to 60 yb's in our loft at the start of the season and i know that i would pick a stray out from them. also when you enter birds onto the race sheet you would know that the ring number is not yours, Ray

I know this might sound a little silly but would you have to soap them every time you let them out Ray

I have been able to get some yb's from a local fancier who has sadly passed away they have not been raced or trained, but they have been flying out for a while. How would you go about breaking them out to the new loft, do not think i will be able to collect them from there old loft as they have gone. any idears welcom ray

Have to agree with all that say they would ask the breeder, For the same reasons the owner/ breeder knows his birds better and if you are buying for stock then i would ask them to help select the pairs. Ray

Hi Tony A couple of the lads in our club have got 2 in the race, Not sure if they will be there but they are under the name of Butcher & Turner they had a good one in the last hot spot race 6th so we will all have our fingers crossed for them, As we will for your entry, GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL Ray

Sorry i was not having a go at any one person or persons. As i said lets congratulate all the winners open and section. But i would say that if they had been over the pond then bear in mind that the wind plays a big part in the out come of the race and also the race point. the national flying club has moved the race points more westerly every year like the yb national if it had been from over the channel this year would have been st marlo, Why do they not spread the race points around differant parts of france to give every area in the National Flying Club a chance of winning. I cannot see how the current lines of flights are fare to all. And i also feel the sections need to be looked into as some do not appear to be fare, and section E is one of them. I know there are a few trying to get this changed and they are doing a great job. These are my own thoughts and i stick by them. i no longer belong to the NFC. RAY

Well all i can say it has not taken long for people to start saying that the wind played a major factor in the result of the National this weekend. Well thats the case for every race be it club, fed, classic, national.
