Hi Snowy USED TO FLAG ME BIRDS BUT THEY WOULD JUST GO OFF ELSE WERE THEN COME BACK. HAVE BROUGHT IN SOME NEW YB'S THIS YEAR FROM A LOCAL FANCIER AND THEY FLY FOR THE FUN OF IT 1-2 HR'S EVERY DAY BUT I ALSO THINK YOU HAVE TO FEED THEM WELL, NO GOOD HAVING THEM HANGING OFF THE WIRES WAITING TO BE FED RAY

FOUND ONE THE OTHER DAY CALLED HITLER IT'S ONLY GOT ONE BALL BOOM BOOM

MOTHBALL'S HERE AS WELL IN ALL OUR LOFTS. WORKS WELL FOR US ONLY TROUBLE IT TAKES DAYS TO COLLECT ENOUGH MOTH BALLS :'( :'( :'( LOL RAY

Have to agree with you Dries even as a new starter you have some idear of what yb's will cost you. Why did losalt not ask how much he was looking for the bird's Lets draw a line under this now and move on we have all learnt from this sort of thing. good luck all Ray

Most fanciers i know who fly widowhood all say the same thing there birds only fly for 15- 40 min's. i would not worry about it, if you do want them to fly a little longer then put them in the crate after exercise round the loft and take them for a toss. also no of a fancier who only take's his birds trainning 3 times a week but never lets them fly around home, he has won plenty of red cards in both club and fed. RAY

Thanks Rose & Speck's The name above the lofts is so i do not forget where i am, ( Old Age ) LOL, Teresa has two lofts to clean out a third would be a little unfair, Speck's if i am Norris then Teresa must be Rita LOL She will be happy, As you can see i am a keen gardener, will have all the grass infront of the lofts covered with gravel soon and some nice planter's. Have been to see the Dr today and he says that i am still alive, at least that is what i think he said, lol . Have been signed off for a month as my blood pressure was up to 190 over 120 just a little high. Get to spend more time with the bird's, yippee . Thanks for all you comments RAY
