Dark or Light Widowhood I’ve been lucky enough over the years to top the Fed & from 60 to 500mls with up to 6,700 birds In some races using both systems of widowhood by darkening the loft during the day, also leaving the loft light. When I say darkening I mean you can read a news paper.I do find by darkening the loft the birds always seem to rest more. What system do you use and why?
