A good few inches of snow forcast for the north west in the next 24 hours but by hook or by crook we will get there somehow,cant see it being cancelled anyway,too much money involved,remember the bird flu and foot and mouth,Blackpool was the only bird gathering not cancelled,purely because of money so no way will it be off

We are a very friendly lot,or at least we try to be as welcoming as possible to show people that there is a massive show scene in Britain,there are shows on every single week for about 10 months of the year,there is life outside racing and showing is a great hobby,glad you saw the birds.hope you will this year too

Snap,been stuck in from 21 dec till 27th,then yipee got out for 3 days only to be stuck in again since new years eve,its just really not funny and good luck with getting a gritter,no chance round here,they make me sick,should all be sacked or better still shot.!!!!!! mountains of grit but no one is spreading it,and if you need an ambulance or a fire engine what would happen then,the bins havent been emptied for weeks either,I dont know what we pay our council tax for,we even get pretend policemen instead of real ones and if i am stuck in much longer I am going to become agrophobic I feel better for that now

Snowed in again,only been able to get out for about 4 days in the last fortnight and its just not funny anymore :'(

There is a rescue society for every breed of dog,whatever you fancy,just use a search engine like google and you will find them.They all rely on donations and usually charge a fee for adopting the dogs to help towards the cost of worming them,neutering them,kennel fees etc etc.I actually think it is a bargain because it would cost you a lot more to neuter,vaccinate the dog at your own vets,plus you are giving a dog a second chance in life

Very light snow here on and off since first thing,not enough to stick though,Tam's out in it now putting anti freeze in the car

Good luck Shadow,although I think you will be back as this site is almost like an institution.I say that because I felt exactly the same way and did the same thing quite awhile ago now.It is very easy to become dispondent when you really try to help people and on occassions go to alot of time and effort and then your post is totally ignored yet the person still keeps posting up they have the same problem week in week out yet the solution is on the board!!. I started to think it was because I was a woman,but obviously not if you feel the same.Anyway I dont bother anymore,I just let them get on with it,of course I would help anyone that asked me but I dont waste my time on posts,I just try and enjoy the site and all the friends I have made All the best Chrissy

GB 09 D 19093 chequer Very tired and flown out body wise [probably due to the weight of a very heavy id ring on its leg) ,but its not injured,been very well cared for here in the feed shed,its like buffet service and she [looks like a she] loves it.

No he hasnt lost his accent but I do understand him,he says he wants to make dinner every night and do all the washing (or at least thats what I think he says) and he couldnt run away as we are miles from anywhere
