yes i use the hosehold items u get for hanging up, also when the birds are out i use a fly spray in all the nooks and gaps,

u usually get a break from the hawks when they start to feed youngsters, as they look for smaller food. mice sparrows etc, also if u ar getting bother, do not let ur birds out before 12 noon or after 5pm, this is when they ar looking for food, they will have had some before 12, but need more before roosting, also do not let ur birds out the same time each day the hawks know when and where to get them if u do, this may not solve ur problem but can help a bit,

are ur birds getting out, i find once the mating is over and the eggs laid, they have too much spare time now when not sitting more so the cocks and just look for something to do, fight go in other nests etc, get them out as much as possible, but don't give up, we all get this from time to time, also with the cold weather just now some eggs may not hatch if they have been chilled, but atill plenty time yet for breeding, stay with it,
