thanks hyacinth, jimmy and i got it over to the marie curie and the reporters that pigeons were safe as far as the avian flu goes, and that the public needs to be assured, as u see by the photos the lady from the marie curie had no fear, and the birds were liberated in a very busy place in the car park at sainsbury supermarket, and the people there were very interested in the liberation, pity we could not get more of this during this time to let the public feel happy, they are always interested to see the white birds they seem to think they are lovely, jimmy and i explained that homing pigeons were well looked after and faccinated each year,

U CAN USE BLANCO FOR COVERING UP BLUE ETC ON THE WHITES,

THE BEAN BAG THEARY IS JUST SO THE ONE YOUNGSTER CANNOT SLIDE ABOUT, MORE SO IF ITS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE NEST BOWL WITH ITS FEET SLIPPING, I REMEMBER THE OLD TYPE NEST BOWL, STILL A FEW GOING ABOUT, THEY GOT VERY NARROW AT THE BOTTOM, SOME OF U MAY HAVE SEEN THEM, BUT KEAP NEST FELTS (I USE PACKED HAY) AND PLENTY STRAW, WHAT U HAVE GOT TO WATCH WITH THE BEAN BAG THAT IF THE YOUNGSTER IS VERY SMALL IT COULD COVER IT, I WAIT UNTIL THE YOUNGSTER IS GETTING MOVING ABOUT, SO LONG AS ITS NOT TOO LATE, BEST THING IS KEEP YHE BOTTOM OF THE NEST PAN COVERED WITH NEST FELT ETC.
