  2. why do u need to dock a dogs tail for working, and what kind of work,
  3. yes of course u do becuase u need money to keep and race pigeons, but it does'nt nessesary make u successfull, but it does help.
  4. the whole answer regarding being there to see ur birds come home, is its up to u u can be there with any clock, so wheres the problem, and if u want to catch ur birds u can with ets, so being there or not is no argument regarding ets, u can catch them u can be there or away the choice is urs, there is no rule saying u have to be or not be there. u have the choice, but wqith conventional clocks u dont, u must be there, no choice
  5. YOU GET PLUG INS WHICH U PUT INTO UR PLUG PIONT IN THE HOUSE THIS SENDS A SIGNAL (JUST LIKE THE CAT ULTRA SOUND ONES) THROUGH THE WIREING OF UR HOUSE KEEPS MICE FLIES ETC AWAY, U COULD PUT 2 IN UR HOUSE ONE UPSTAIRS ONE DNTA

well done wee-peg keep up the good work.
  8. welcome aboard and hope u get the info u are looking for and this is the site to get it, sorted the 3 posts u had the same, took 2 out, all the best.
  9. well done mate
  10. yes spray some household fly spray in all the cracks and gaps.
  11. there is nothing stopping u from being there to see ur birds coming home, there is nothing stopping u from catching ur birds and timing them, its up to u,
  12. yes i always say it could benefit in very short races but once out a bit its the birds u need, there is only one member in our club not using it because he is leaving the sport next year, and he has been on the sheet and fed nearly every week, so u must get the birds home, i see ur point rose it can have some thoughts along the line but in all i dont see anything wrong with it.
  13. yes i agree rose there is some if's etc, which can be sorted, i think a lot are of the impression that the ets system is so u dont have to be there to time in, its not just that, its making a lot of things easier for both fancier and officials, and very time saving at matking and taking off, also for the fancier basketing etc, its also lets u know which birds are home both in racing and training, u can also be training and racing at the same time and it lets u know which are trainers and which are racesrs, also u can use it for up to five races at once,
  14. the point is with ets u can be there to see ur birds coming or not, its ur choice, also u can catch ur birds and time them in its ur choice, with other clocks u must be there no choice. also u can use ets or any other approved timing system, its ur choice,
  15. get in touch with an old chimmney sweep if there is any around, they will get it out. or the rspca, but they may charge u,
  16. as far as advantage goes, yes there is regarding ets, u dont have to catch the bird, u dont have to take a rubber from its leg (all to the advantage of the bird) and fancier, but there is and always will be an advantage to fanciers using stall traps, u dont have to go into the loft, u dont have to catch the bird, and with ets when u are basketing u dont have to write out sheets etc, just get ure birds from the loft and put them in the basket and they are on their way, at the marking station its a lot easier, u call out the birds ring number and put its foot to the marker and if ok it comes up on the base station and the person on the base station tells u cock or hen, all very easy, after ur birds are all through u press a button to print and u and the secy gets a copy with all birds marked and pooled no writing or looking for ring numbers etc, taking off u just put ure clock in the base station and press print and the same again one for u and one for the secy with the times of arrival, and no variations etc its all done for u, also i believe there is an update now where ure velocities are worked out on the printout, all advantage, once u get ets u wonder why u never wanted one,
