  5. well done to the aberdeen fed very nice transporter, u are a credit to the sport.
  6. time of sale to be given later.
  7. dont see how, if the south delivery turned it over to the north then it would be the norths responsibility, if it was not turned over then it would be the south,
  8. there is one which has been going in scotland for a few years,SPDS, it covers mainland scotland, would be good if this could jion up with one on the borders so we would have a full coverage,
  9. well done jason, what kind of an engineer are u,
  10. Fife fed at Otterburn as the forecast is now not very good until later in the day. but will wait and see
  11. another one to give to the birds is seaweed, which no doubt has salt in it, i get a bag of garlic and seaweed powder at blackpool, i put a little in their food they love it, so getting both seaweed and garlic,
  12. back in the 60's we used to go out to the farm fiels where cattle were and the use to have a large lump of salt rock hanging on the fence for the cattle to lick, we used to take it and put it in the loft for the birds to pick at,
  13. The Fife Federation will be having a latebred sale on Sunday the 26th August in the Bowhill Memorial Club Cardenden, anyone wishing to contribute birds can contact the Fed Secretary on 01592/720039, all donations welcome.
  14. no read my post i said u were using them to highlight as i did, not u were shouting,
  15. so why are u using them, also geordie, yes to highlight the subject, just like i did also the part in the code of conduct u are refering too, has the use of capital letters ie: CAPITAL LETTERS in posts once again its highlighting a part of a subject to bring attention to, not meant as shouting,
  16. yes I agree Rose, and make a quote from the CODE OF CONDUCT
  17. i got a red from my whites this year, and lots of them are coming in with blue saddles and some with blue tails,
  18. with ets it sorts out first and second bird. it doesnt matter if all birds come in at the same time its when they go in the clock that counts, if u have 3 thinbles in ur hand u cant put them all in at once, even if the birds came in at the same time, if a bird come in at 12-10-40, and u didnt put it in the clock until 12-15-30 its the latter that counts so it dont matter if u take 2-3 rubbers off at the same time its how they go in the clock,
  19. yes no problem keeping for weeks but not a year i dont think, also as long as they are kept cool not freezer.
  20. i certainly would'nt put them in the freezer, as a youngster we kept poultry, and used to keep eggs for weeks, before puting them under broody hens, we also used to put eggs u got from the local shop, (not many as u only got one per person per week) under them and they hatched, as far as keeping eggs for a year i dont think they would keep fresh that long, but weeks yes, but not in the freezer, i think they would crack,
  21. yes it was at a golf course but on the other side of the forth,
  22. well done webmaster, giving this sale up front publicity,
