i agree with others ,, dont use sand,, i use the scraper for cocks and hens and easybed for stock loft and ybs works great for me.

i did the same couple of months ago, didnt shut door properly and two hens walked out behind me one was my mates on loan,,was gutted,, never mind!! :-/

i had them at beggining of season easy to fit,, just make sure u get the rubber in the chamber properly lot better than messin about with thimbles. i have six fitted, works for me.

owen is spot on for me, at an early age i always lightly blow a whistle when about to feed. the idea behind it is to create a compulsive reaction so when ever they here me whistle they trap whether they are hungry or not, i also give a time limit to begin with and u have to be strict with them if they dont come in when i say they stay out hungry all night they soon learn whistle means in

i sent 2 pigeons to leesay, there were no pigeons in the club yesterday, i was told yesterday evening by sec that it was a one day race,. at 7.45 thismorning my first bird came wich i didnt clock thinking the race was over, turns out i would have won the club, for the first time,. by the time i found out the race wasnt over it was 9 40 so i clocked and now im third club. would have been nice to get the red card. peed off. :( :B
