  3. Well today me and my dad came to the decision that the irish birds had to go out as they were really strong on the wing so , we let them have a bath before we let them out and they were doing fine until we tried to get them in the other birds came in straight away near enough , and when they were in the irish birds decided to take off and around 8 are still missing out of around 11 so my question is what do you reckon the chances of them returning are they are still around the loft but arent coming anywhere near the loft what do you guys think ?
  4. well folks they did go for the chuck around a mile and a half to start and they all came back within the minute we let them out for an hour before the chuck got them in basketed them and took them, when they returned they stayed in the air for another half an hour and were ranging further than usual we took them around 6 to try and avoid the majority of the racing pigeons which thankfully we didnt loose one so they will be trained slowly and the distances will increase over time but all went well for the first chuck
  5. As The Title says the first chuck for the certain birds which are ranging and stayin up for while them and only them are the ones which are really ready for a chuck so were taking them around a mile away from us to start and were guna repeat this for around 3 or 4 times them move then on to 4-5 miles what do you guys think ?

  14. we were there for literally 15 mins he swabbed the two worse throats and came back within 10 mins and diagnosed the problem he was really good and we would definately go to him again as the birds seem to be perking up already but theres just one little blue which was a bit further on with the disease which has began to shove its head behind his body kind of thing but he is eating and drinking and flying by flying i mean within the loft as we have not let the birds out since they arrived from ireland as we have two other pigeon racers next to us, but as a precaution we removed him from the loft and put him in the spare shed any thoughts on if he could recover whilst being on the meds like the rest ?
