nice birds a friend of mine has just gone into modenas couldnt believe it when i seen them how much they av changed in size'stature and i dont no if you agree but they seem to av lost abit of feather quality
yellows can take a very long time to come on the roll in my eyes there not a true roller the color comes through tumblers from years back the same with almonds
i agree m8 its got to the point in leicester where people are afraid to fly at the min i think rollers are going the same way as tipplers so showing is the way forward
some very nice birds oldyellow a credit.lenwadebob not rearly thought into it to much just doing some research at the min although i think flyers wouldnt be a great idea as we are getting hammered by the hawk at the min
hi all at the min i fly rollers in comp but it is becoming impossible with the hawk so im looking into showing but not sure wat type to go with so was hopinng for some sugestions and pics of them
cheers Aaron
lol ive been down that road and found that keeping them in that sort of kit box has no advanteges it doesnt make them kit or peform any better and in some thing that size if you av one sick bird chances are they all are but each to there own
jimmy 4ft sq is plenty for a kit although mine are 4ft sq and 8ft tall but its down to prefferance.
there is no need for any fancy trapping systems keep it simple mate just get them using the door
just make sure its well ventilated
hi fancypigeon b4 i start they look nice birds m8 but look a little miss marked to be a pure breed i could be wrong. but they could be westy cross some other feather leg
personally i never put bowls on the floor the main reason the birds that nest in them are never left to settle by the other birds so boxes would be better
wheat is ok for flying them on but if you are planing on breeding off them give them young bird mix and the easy way to stop them leaving certain seeds is not to feed them till the feeders are empty
hi jimmy if you are just flying them give them just weat but watch them when they are eating and make sure they are getting enough as some times they dont take to it very well
