is there anyone in the garstang area who could help me out as i have just had a bird reported by greenlands vets, cabus, there tel no is 01995 603349, the lady said its a bit thin but cant see any injurys, it was picked up by a member of the public, any help would be very appreciated, thanks.

andy, did you follow up with something for fungal & yeast infection after treating for canker ext as i had the same problem so treated with nystatin for 3 days then saw an improvement.

hi mate, all 3 cumbria feds had very poor returns last weekend, derwent valley fed (leyland) liberated at 10-40, west cumbria fed ( leyland) liberated 9-00, and east cumbria fed (garstang)liberated at 12-00, maybe this weather had a lot to do with east cumbria fed( ie) carlise being the worst hit as one club had only 15 birds back in club out of nearly 300 sent, 1 member only getting 1 out of 60, this is 2 weeks on the trot that we have had huge losses, i myself lost 15 out of 35 and have thought of throwing the towel in, gives you no heart and you just start to go through the motions, losing interest so i know what the welsh lads and lasses are going through.

tell us about it mate , we get it everyday up here in cumbria but theres got to be something else stopping them mate, every fed, east cumbria, west cumbria, and derwent valley fed, all had bad races today with derwent valley being the last to liberate, surely the hawks would have been fed with the other two feds going before us, no i think theres something else stopping them mate.

poor returns again for derwent valley fed members fron leyland 76 mls, dont know whats going wrong, i my self sent 35, got 17 back, looks like a short season for a lot of people up here in cumbria, hawks cant be doing all this damage surely, getting behond the joke, trained hard, best of feed, stricted routine, slowly gettin pi--ed of, 76 mls years ago they could have done it with there eyes closed, something sadly wrong, it was like waiting from a 200 mls race .

one of my mates just been on phone, says hes one reported in kendal so it looks like they went the wrong way. boxer, sorry to here about your losses mate, but makes you wonder where they all go to as you never seem to get many or any reported these days.

hi abbypap, where were you racing from as my mate greenlands has one in plus we know of a couple more with them in as well, greenlands is going to try and get them back up to ayshire threw the week.

could members please keep a lookout for youngbirds with the letter D10701-to 17000 as the derwent valley fed have had a disaster race out of garstang near blackpool 64 mls yesterday, liberated at 1-20 in a west north west wind, hundreds of birds missing, looks like the wind may have pushed them up the wrong valley, this couldnt have come at a worse time with members already suffering because of the old bird races, leaving a lot of people finished, this being only the second race, thank you.

hi gladdo, can i ask why are you selling your stock mate if you havent tried the offspring yet, would it not be better to wait till the back end to see what happens.
