thanx or the tips so far for roundabout do you have some spair cocks & hens at home for the first birds to come home incase there mates are late ect

birds back on form came alot better getting nearly all home in half hoursent 19 205miles got 4th again only & they were first 4in fed race

thinking of racing roundabout i usually race widowhood cocks & widowhood hens but im trying to cut my number of birds down as there are cocks & hens left at home waiting for there mates & as i have more widowhood cocks alot of decent hens are going to waste which i dont mind if roundabout doesnt work!! whats the best way to race roundabout interested of what you think

i think you cant beat getting new birds & breeds from the best flyers 1.get them for half the price!!! 2. think if you mass breed gonna get alot of bad ens!! 3.dont know what your actually getting!

littlehampton this weekend interested in what the weather like on sat down there to yorkshire

this year think its been 50/50 however only race 8hens i do like racing hens though cant beat a hen 10/14 days siting can & will beat the cocks if fit though i put mine on widowhood first of all to get em fit then pair up later in season however won on that too

good news had the droppings tested results are good no problems ;D ;D ;D ;D just need to alter there feeding,exercise giving the 5 in 1 the other week must of cleared there droppings & anything else they must of had lets see wht happens for the last 3races

seagull whats the format of this system give us an idea & why its a great system

well done with the old birds i would say very little contact as possible i have a wire messed door which i pull across on race days which i put a metal bar behind traps to stop em getting into main part makes catching em quicker to clock you could do some simalar & when cocks come home first from training let them through into main loft then put metal bar in which will stop the hens having any contact at all just able for them to spin round at one another or do vise verser if cocks come home first just an idea works for me then on friday either send on a short toss no further than 5miles let them have full contact before race & see the results!! its probably too late in the season to learn them widowhood now so thats my suggestion hope this helps maybe next year do the same bit have them parted well before yb racing & train em this method but when they go training first of let them have contact before & after toss to get use to it
