1991 snfc gold cup winner gordon glendinng of gretna (glendinning&Edwards) passed away last night.A great man who i had the pleasure of working with before his retirement,our thoughts are with his family at this time. rip gordon.

yes martin was there too,matt had some cracking birds,its sad to see the end of racing at violetbank after all these years.

i was at a sale on the friday night ,there was one stolen out the pen they made good money,and was at the jan arden sale some nice birds there at nice prices.

in our club we have a bottle draw which is 20p a square(40 numers on a sheet),members get 6 sheets each to try and sell we have 13 members in our club and it raised 700 pounds this year. we have run this for a long time,and if it was not for this the club would struggle.

its the pigeon that does the flying not the paper.

that was tryed by solway fed committee and was bombed out by the shu.

well mate was at the funeral the day,it was a great turn out everyone from annan hc was there to give there respects,matts familys been on that farm since 1901!!,and after 70 years its the end of racing up there. Anyway hope your looking after them towers!!

i dont know about that homer,but i was speaking to a man the other day that resigned from the snfc and got a balance sheet through?could it be with the change of secretarys? where is the price of the car/van on the balance sheet?

i cant see it happening,but you never know what distance would it be to lanarkshire?

the thing that puts me of is the price of the rings,you would think they could be cheaper

we flew portsmouth last year with west cumbria fed we had good returns hope we are there again this year

in my fed one of the clubs started a limit,now cause of this another club has started and now flys with another fed and now i think it has become one of the best clubs in the area,they wanted to fly with the fed but got rejected,and now they are complaining cause it takes birds away from the fed,in my mind you dont need limits if your birds are good enough they will win the more they have the more competition you have. and the big team boys help the fed s with the birdage.you can only win a national/section with one pigeon
