Yes just ask the Fifer on this forum, for a couple of years he had a nightmare with a pair of Carion crows that were nesting near by. They even entered his loft a lifted youngsters out of the nest, this I know to be true because on many of my visits to Fifers loft, I witnessed crow attacks on his birds. :'(

I think if a hawk was that close, your birds would be scattered all over the sky, and not still batching. But then again who knows!

Same as Ace. I put garlic in the water, and at least one bath a week. I have never had problems getting my darkness birds through the moult.

Currently along with my pigeons I follow our local football team East Fife, who my daughters boyfriend plays for. So without the birds I would go to games also.

Interested to know how fanciers treat thier birds over the winter/moult. Do you shut them up or still give them thier liberty?
