STILL NO PRICES?

With regards as to how many I,ll send this week to our 1st young bird race. Probably 6 or 8 maximum as a matter of interest. I have said before recently the first race is a lottery, with a lot of untrained birds in the baskets, hoping for a TOW UP THE ROAD. Usually by the 3rd or 4th race every thing has settled down. Good luck to all racing this weekend.

FIFE FED 1st YOUNG BIRD RACE FROM KELSO

Having experienced yet another disasterous race from 525miles, I,m begining to ask myself, where should I be looking for reliable distance blood. Up here in Fife Dennis Dall seems to be a reliable source. Any ideas?

They don,t half scare the birds, I had one hanging around last year I decided to put chicken wire around all my vents to prevent the little b******s getting in. Be aware, Be very aware. ??) ??) ??)

AGREE, I TOOK THIS WEEK OFF WORK TO TRAIN , BUT DECIDED TODAY WAS TOO HOT. RATHER THEY JUST FLY AROUND THE LOFT.

Anyone out there agree with me , and believe this current heat wave is partly to blame for so many young bird losses? :'(

JUST DROPPED INTO MY LOFT TONIGHT, BELIEVE IT TO BE ANGUS FED PIGEON.

I can only give my opinion, but myself like the majority of my club mates did not send birds to the latest National, due to birds not in the ideal nest condition, due to the uncertaincy of whether or not getting over the chanel. and preparing birds for inland racig. This may have had some effect on the low birdage. Who knows!
