  12. as said b4, put it on the birdage, therefor you pay for what you can afford to send and those that choose to send big teams, then they pay for them.

Wrong, all clocks can be trusted, it,s the cheats that can,t be trusted, ie humans, fortunately, these are the minority, :-/
  18. Yes you are correct, I,ve just checked, the thing is I relied on the missus, who works in the WHISKY industry, never trust a woman :-/ I STAND CORRECTED FOLKS :-/
  19. Was wondering, once the selection of next seasons team, do you cull/give away all other birds, or do you keep some surplus birds? I personally try and have only the required number of cocks needed, however I always allow for a few surplus hens, and these are kept in the young teams section. I find they help bring the youngsters along.
  20. I would like to have a little success at the Nationals, maybe even time a doo in on the day from 500+ miles :-/ Fingers crossed, and good luck to you all on your 2009 ambitions
  21. Welcome to our great site m8
  22. People need to take their blinkers off, and stop thinking about their own pockets, and start to look at the whole picture and consider the rest of the membership. I can afford £150, but I don,t want to see those that can,t. pack in :-/
  23. This does not include Fed Open Races, 4off, so this is only for a maximum of 11/12 races, roughly £13.64 PER RACE, WHICH IN TURN EQUALS SENDING 42 BIRDS, who says it,s not for the mob flyers? :-/ what about the poor old, unemployed fancier who struggles to send 6 to a race, happy to charge them £13 for that? watch the fed membership fall!!!! :-/
  24. I believe the Fife Fed need to look at the route of the problem. which I believe is the transporting of our birds, for one the trailer is too big for the birdage we send to most races, So lets stop asking members to throw money at the continuing problem, and lets address it. It,s not going to go away, and by masking it by continually throwing money at it, is false economy :-/ Once again this is my opinion, and I do respect the opinion of others
  25. Alec this was tried before and got voted out, I am all for the Fed making money, but not at the expense of the OAP,s who enjoy the sport but do not send big teams, why should someone who sends 6 birds to a race, pay the same as someone who send 25? not fare in my eyes, put the money on the birdage if need be, then everyone pays for what they send, and we don,t loose any of our older or not so well off members, noticed that the proposal is put forward by 2 members, who both fly BIG teams, and are business men. I was at Methilhaven on Monday night, and not one person present was in favour for the increase, so it,s down to the vote. My concern is the number of people who have said, if it does go through, they will pack in. Hardly the way forward :-/
