  17. The thing I don,t like about putting on a commission bid is, if some of these less honest auctions inform their stoogies out in the crowd of the highest commission bid, then they bid for them right upto the bid before that of the commission bid, then it goes to the commission bid for there maximum offer :-/ does this make sense????? :-/

  20. I would like to add, that I will be attending Raymond Molvelds auction, I have met Raymond on 2 occasions and bought birds from him, and both times, he gave me very good advice, and what I believe to have been fair prices. So I have no hesitation in going to his auction at Blackpool.
  21. With Blackpool just around the corner, was wondering what are forum members views/experiences of attending auctions? I have heard that not all auctions are as fair as they make out, by this I mean that some have people in the crowd, who,s role it is, is to hype up the prices of birds by bidding with no intention of buying. I am not for one minute saying that all auctions adopt this unfair approach. I myself have had some decent birds for a decent price at auctions, but have also been curious of others who constantly bid, but never end up going home with a bird. Friend or Foe? :-/ What do you think folks?
