sometimes if i know friend down road has his old birds out

always loved that style loft and birds look a treat ,credit to you of course

always let experienced bird out ,i always kept 1 bird hungry for such purpose

excellent news son hope u win each race ,but dont be to disapointed if ure not cos theres always the next to try for ,

i have five lofts 18 x 8 / 10 x 7 / 8 x 8 / 8 x 7 / 8 x 6 and i house 30 birds at mo between them cheers rockinrick

no i dont wing stamp cos it takes a would be thief 2 secs to pull a feather ,whereas i do double ring my birds 1 rpra ring and 1 lost ring jus incase

i dont race ybs heavy , jus use them as trainners for the yearling stage , cheers rockinrick

i wean my ybs at 28 days by this time they should be fully feathered and drinking and eating good cheers rockinrick

i feed after the ybs have come back in after there mornin fly around which is usually about an hour , then i give main feed in evenin after their fly out jus before sun goes down around four to five.

do birds in wild go indoors when it rains , no , i let my birds out to fly and bath so long as its not too heavy a downpour they love the shower after the fly round cheers rockinrick

will the soaping of the feathers affect them besides making them stick together ?/ also will clipping one side have same affect ? cheerrs rockinrick
