Bob, thank you for a fantastic look into the busschaert family of birds. When I started back in 1985, I bought some Arthur beardsmore Busschaerts,they won from 50 to 4oomls no problem.I then introduced the Lefebre/ Dhaenens,which left the Busschaerts standing.I then introduced the Staf-van-reets, that I race today.The Staf-van-reets.have won from 68 to 465 mls for me, I find them outstanding,very versatile, like the Busschaerts.

I had good returns,21 from 23, But others 20/40 7/13 6/11 18/21, Rhymney castle,also had a mixed bag of returns. They started coming well,then it went dead.

With a bad forcast for Saturday,do you think the feds should use common sense and have basketing saturday, for a Sunday lib.

Thank you Owen, This problem of losses has been going on for the last three years with the first couple of races.I think Swindon should be looked at to be changed.I also agree that flying from east to west will also be prone to clashing.I hope that this weeks Newbury brings more joy.

Alas we are only 11 members now ,members are struggling to get a team together due to yb losses.

Tom,The WNRF fed must have been swayed to go east to west from North originally,The majority would have to vote for it anyway.

Jas, I am in the Merthyr H.S.

We must be the only fed whos members birds have been badly trained and have y/bs if you look at the RVF & the South Glam feds Returns the last couple of weeks.

I think a lot of clubs are thinking of changing routes next season,I would go north or south in a minute,our club want to change for next season.If they don,t I can see many of our members packing in.

Had another 4 this morning, flown out.One lad in the club sent 38, he had 13 by clock check.It was his first race after starting back in the sport. a member of the gurnos club had 0 from 30 at clock checkVery unhappy club last night. No wonder the sport is dying.

Just come back from the club, members 50% missing I had another 2 still 9 down.

Well Tom, you must be one of the lucky ones,every body I have spoke to had less than 50%.It was the fourth Swindon for One fancier, he has had 11 from 23.
