Thanks David for your reply, i will pass it on. I do think by looking at the birds they are smart enough to do the job, but they will need crossed I feel as they have been bred as a family at Louella. As you correctly say they are Slatey pigeons and Slatey Reds. Colour makes no difference as long as they have the brains but it seems to be the trait in that family. It will be interesting to see how he does next year. ATB Eamon
Does anyone race these birds from Louella? I was asked by a friend to pick a pair out of their internet site for him and I have to admit that they were actually two very nice birds. Well balanced, good size etc...Having not bought anything from Louella for 10 years I was very surprised and pleased what I picked out for him. Just wondered had anyone else got this family and had they done something? They most likely will need crossed out. Eamon
Only played it early as it is a distraction and i want it out of the way Tactics my friend Just checked, 3 clean sheets last night - cmon the roosters!!!
Recieved numbers 1 and 2 from Colin yesterday and they are belters. Quality reared Ybs. This is a loft i would not hesitate in buying from again, highly reccommended. Thanks Colin.
NIPA seems to have got a good race yesterday with lots of birds home. However there are lofts that suffered and some lofts timed late so they must have split somewhere along the line. Personally finished 3rd club with 3 home from 5 sent, happy to get Ybs over channel. Now i can relax as i am finished for the season. Best of luck to all this weekend.
