Hi mate be very careful it is a mine field every thing is means tested my mate tried for years to get help but had to pay for private help while he worked to feed and give his gran medication on a daily basis . The times this company failed to turn up and feed and give medication was scandalous always resulting in calls either from the police or ambulance service after she was found to have collapsed through dehydration etc The social services will put the onus on you to look after her maybe with some home help if you cannot pay for private services take my advise and have her put into a home ,with all the good intentions your family as to look after your gran it is better for her and better for your family .When i see what my mate went through the money it cost him and finally cost him after the last time she was found unconscious and admitted to hospital he just gave the hospital a six figure cheque and said look after her and left the hospital destroyed and broke this is true i was with him he still cannot bring himself to visit his gran who raised him .I know his family are trying to get him interested back in is birds and out of his depression and to enjoy himself again a man who would help anyone especially the most unfortunate of our society . Good luck i seen me best mate destroyed with struggling for years to cope with his grandmother and the decisions he had to make only now is he starting to get his life back on track slowly and he still cannot talk about his grandmother with out nearly having a nervous breakdown my heart feels for you .

LAST YEAR £15,000 this year i am informed they have twenty four friends and family working on Blackpool at the reddings ,paid at a good rate of all they can eat and drink at blackpool ,as the reddings will pick up the tab ,plus spending money , :-/

Reading in this weeks paper about a regional secretary given a pay rise in these very hard financial times ,when all working man woman will be lucky if there wages are not lowered over the next twelve months ,with falling membership is a pay rise right , what i find strange is there is no mention of what percentage pay rise this regional secretary as received or how much he is paid yearly . can anyone tell me how much they get paid yearly as regional secretary ;D

Feel sorry for molly and steve .maybe there conclusions have come about over the thefts of birds over the last twenty years from there lofts and others around the area who also have had birds stolen by so called fanciers,who just want every thing for free or who want to destroy someone else"s pleasure be it one or one hundred it makes no difference ,many fanciers have been destroyed by having there birds stolen killed lofts burnt down by so called fanciers over the years . Some of the comments made by fellow fanciers around the net about molly and steve, are very sad ,easy to kick a fellow fancier when there down ,its not all about winning, its the pleasure they bring ,the time they spend with looking after there little friends,the pleasure money cannot buy .This hobby/sport looks to have lost another two fanciers from the never ending depleting membership.jmo :-/
