  8. been on the forum a few years now and always find these type of questions only cause problems,as a fancier who has studied scottish national flying club results for years and marvelled at top distance pigeons from all areas of scotland it can be unfair sometimes to fanciers in unfashionable locations as they can be timing exceptional pigeons which in all honesty have little or no chance of winning the race.jmo :)
  9. was hopeing to get to the show today after work but went to firhill instead(big mistake)well done to todays winners and special mention for the mathiesons who will not be far away at blackpool

  19. your not so old yersel bob!!!!!! there is a young lad who has started this year from MOC(first for 30 years) and got some very handy late breds from the milton of campsie and campsie boys, along with his dad they work on the sites and the birds go hail rain or shine training most days, not sure what club he will join but hopefully one for the future. :) :)time will tell.
  20. usually won by a dipped doo i am afraid eddie :o if entering doos we usually go for the flown classes and have been lucky enough to have won the 300 mile class a couple of times in the past at fauldhouse but have given these shows a miss of late as the distance flown criteria can also be open to abuse mores the pity!!!!!!!!!!! :o good luck eddie if you compete. :) :)
