if the percy was in hunting mode ,9 out of 10 pigeons would be a meal ,no mater how close it keept to percy ,

that is not mobing ,your birds are just trying to stay close to stay alive ,mobing is what corvids do to hawks ,that is chasing them out of their teritory ,like i said ,most of you should read up on the ways of the bop and other birds it just might help you keep in this hobby a bit longer.

your so right ,but like every fed ,as long as they are let go ,and its where they are told to go ,then it seems it dont matter,that is why they keep going back to these places ,i dont or wont send when i know its a place with a nest site .when will theyever learn .

the welsh south road national is not a national ,its a club ,they only send about 2or 3 hundred birds lol,

if you all took the time to walk the esturies and the RSPB winter feeding sites you will have your eyes opend ,there are millions of wadeing birds and migrating species for the hawks to feed on ,and they have found out ,just like the seagulls did about land fill sites ,that is why they will always have food even when the weather gets rough.

and please tell what will happen ,even if we was listend to by jo public and the RSPB.and how could our problem be solved .

they are mainly sat around the big RSPB winter feeding sites ,ie, places like slimbridge wild fowl center ,and esturies where the pickings are easier this time of year ,with birds being feed by the RSPB .but they never complain because it would show how bad it realy is .

every one knows my views on hawks ,i will tell you about a talk i had on the phone with our so called head man ,i simply asked why do this hawk watch ,then i explaind that it was a complet waist of time and the reasons why ,his reply was \he agreed with me ,, but at least people will know where and where not to train from,i also told him i already new the answer to that ,BRITAIN. all he could answer was ,at least it shows im showing interest , i just said make the most of your job ,it wont last long ,because of the amount of hawks and nothing can be done . the point im making is NO ONE CAN OR WILL STOP THE CARNAGE ,only your self .when will it sink in .

well raced pigeons get lost in the snow ,so it must be imposible for unraced birds to find their way .every thing looks so much the same ,ie,all white with no land marks ,i would say that this is your problem ,that is asuming you got snow like the rest of us

it is like fishing 2 ponds,one that is fished regular the fish get a bit harder to catch ,but a new pond will produce more fish ,dont let them out at this time of year ,then at the start of next season you will have a full pond to play with .
