we are entering into a police state , like it or not and the RSPCA want to become the animal police like their counterparts in america . those scum who take money from old dears under false pretences assuring that felix domesticus will be looked after if they make a donation or leave their house to the protectionists ,......the animal police are watching

before posting on this open forum about prescribed medication and giving each other advice over the internet perhaps you should all make yourselfs aware of this new law( animal welfare act 2007), the animal police (RSPCA) are i am informed watching to see what prosecutions can be gained . forget about birds of prey for now , they will go for the easiest prosecutions first and people on here, however well meaning will be sought , giving out prescribed medication unqualified diagnoses causing an animal to suffer by not seeking proffesional help these are just a few of the mutterings i have heard lately from a friend who is a vet

hi don , i dont think you will get any rings from gibralter , i visit the rock often and pigeon keeping is not practicle because the apes would break in and kill the pigeons , so cross that off your wanted list , i will make enquiries to see if pigeons were ever kept , regards

this all seems rather macabre , i can understand collecting the rings , but why the old bones ??????????? of what interest can the bones be ? or is it to try and say that this ring was once worn by a living being who's end is shrouded in mystry

so it is a bone with a ring on it, not a leg ! , and it is an NTU ring and the anodising seems to be in remarkable condition for a 73 ring , i wonder if decomposition happend in a cupboard and not in the ground ?

bin em , or you could act like a responcible owner and get an avian vets diagnosis , i suppose there will be more "old wives tales" to be repeated , on-line how long is this piece of string , dont know but will guess a diagnosis brigade" trooping out" their current favourite antibiotic ,.....get real and see a vet
