I have been onto pigeons 15 years. I was 8 when I first held one at my primary school and loved it since. When I was 14 all my pigeons where killed by a rat of a guy who was jealous but it never stopped me. The fact that the pigeon people out there all got in contact and helped me get birds/loft and build a family again. The story was in Daily Record and the messages I got from letters or phone calls made you see how much fanciers stick together. I was blown away and it was then I realised I was in the main sport. Since then I have moved onto bigger loft and more birds but back in those days it was a one section loft of 5 pairs, it really made me the pigeon man I am today. Also know I can never learn all there is about racing/showing so to learn something new every day is also magic

Van is diesel, 1.8 engine, Plywood lined in back yes. Tyres are pretty new mate. 8 mile from Edinburgh. Cheers

Sad to hear you need to leave. I suffer from the condition and its not nice at all. Always need mask, even at the shows. People say I should leave sport due to me being young (23 years old) but I will never leave now. So sad to hear it has taken another fancier out our sport.

Can come to arrangement??. As I say I would prefer fancier to have the van as I believe its a good price and very handy.

Hi I am selling my white 52 plate ford courrier van due to having another car with plenty of boot room. I bought this van to use training my birds and going to shows in winter months. The van cost me £2000 when I bought it 1 1/2 years ago. The van has 6 months MOT and Tax (June 09). It has 65000 miles on clock. The van has two very minor bumps (had when bought). Great runner and I have drove all across scotland in the van with my pigeons. It really is ideal for the fancier with small cars who depend on others to train there birds. I have had up to 8 Baskets in the back with no problems. I am looking for £850 ovno and I think this is a very cheap indeed. Have not put it for sale anywhere else at moment as I want a fancier to benefit from its use. PM or just ask if you have questions. Will be at whitburn show on Sat 20 Dec if any one would like a look. Cheers
