Got a couple of yearling pairs looking to nest on the easibed on the floor do i let them nest on the easibed or put a bowl down for them cheers frazer.

Was going to pair up in a couple of weeks,do people put the nest bowls in straight away or after a couple of days follwed by the felts and tobacoo stalks etc.Do you let them settle to the box for a couple of days and avoid them chucking everything about.

Also if you have a yearling team like mine watch out for the cold east winds early in the season dont throw them away.

Blakes for me for the price,ecco lofts looked similar quality but much more expensive but if them six numbers come up then id have a barnsley loft super quality.

Think its easy to forget sometimes the people who help us out with our birds,my first season back this year and with work and the loft being nine miles down the road and no lights in the loft she,s been good as gold to be fair perhaps a box of choccies would,nt go amiss after i,ve taken me favourites out of the box of course ;D ;D

Having the birds nine miles away at the inlaws,could,nt get there today and probably not tommorow so the mother inlaw was down at the loft feeding them and breaking the ice off the drinkers even digging snow away to get in,thing is im now feeling guilty about calling her all the names under the sun in the past turns out shes not such a bad old stick after all ;D ;D

If you only have 3 pair of stock two rounds will give you 12 yb sounds about right for that size of loft but another 4 or five would be ok all the best frazer.

Im staying at the gressham i think its called mates booked it he goes every year,its my first time getting really excited now.Anyone stay there not that im bothered wont be there much be to busy talking pigeons and drinking lots of beer. :P

Anyone know the cheapest place to buy a good size wicker basket,can only see them at boddy and ridewood and i,ll wait forever for them.

Thanks for replys got earthenware bowls last year used shavings with straw on top worked well but being new was interested to see what other people did.
