sammy these members you are talking about who cant get to central marking what have they done when we have central marked for the last few seasons

maybe a van could be kitted out to take our fed baskets from these out lying clubs and again might be able to take any overspill baskets all the way to the race point

what we discuss on this forum will have no bearing on the fed decisions but it's good to air your view's to see what the feelings of the guys who never made the agm so now you know the fed have some hard choice's to make hope your at the next meeting sammy with your idea's on how to solve the problem

true sammy i know one guy i my club who pushes his barrow to the club but when iitcome's central marking someone always picks him up i can afford the price increase not to have central marking can he i wonder

when we central marked last year Sammy did your club lose its identity ?

you pay fed dues just now to run the fed as the fed will be running at a loss next year you,me and every member will have to make this short fall up we do have the option of keeping club marking the same then it will be very expensive or central marking then it will not be as expensive after homer's post the other night i looked at the transport cost with my brother in law who has his own transport company anderson's were doing us a massive discount its not to you look a little closer

think it will have to go this way Sammy just for the reason explained at the agm it takes so long to drive about collecting baskets from every club the cost in time and fuel makes it no longer viable as we have lost our contractor who took the pigeons for a greatly reduced rate as i said before if club's want to keep there identity it will cost them a lot more in dues

the agm was held with not many things being decided one thing for sure its going to be more expensive to race pigeons in lanarkshire can see many clubs amalgamate or central marking as our only choice
