think the transport committee are due to meet before christmas then hopefully a meeting called before blackpool weekend i would add a levy as well as hold the sales maybe £20- £30 levy per member i don't think its a lot to pay for your birds to have the best transport in the country but worst of all is all that money sitting in the bank fund in this financial climate also would be great to tell the haulier we wont be paying your rates thanks lets hope its passed for pigeon racing in lanarkshire the best fed in the uk

vincent did you treat last year? you did have some great results in the snrpc what was your fed/club results like i done that maybe three or four years ago never treated wait to your the bottom of the sheet every week then tell me you still won't treat fit and healthy birds win races whether they are naturally healthy or treated unhealthy birds wont win two birds facing a north wind one with canker and cocci the other clear who's your money on the top flyers treat and if you want to join them

guess most breeding studs are the same buy a winners sons daughters..etc then breed and sell see what they can do for others think a good reputation of the seller means more than racing stud or breeding stud method in my opinion i trust you stuart so i would buy from you and raymond whether you raced or only bred because i know its a gamble what ever way you buy them although racers would have less of a gamble

i remember when i started there was i guy in ayrshire who has an advert in the bhw nearly ever week stating the same performance i spoke to a friend who told me he has never raced a pigeon in 25 years and his advert has never changed but i nearly fell in the novice trap

stuart you mention raymonds bird that took 1st national holland fantastic performance i guess he has birds the same way bred daughters,sons brothers and sisters grand children all who have raced? or has some just been put in the stock loft without proving themselves not all racers are good breeders although they have a much better chance of breeding the goods

lots do put back into the sport via charity sales yourself included

no guarantee buying from racing stud or breeding only stud better chance with a racing stud now if a racing stud has a good season i would imagine the prices would rise and fall with performance i guess its all about feed back to the non racing studs whether the birds are breeding the goods and if they are then they don't need to race to keep the prices high it would be word of mouth from the buyers i would buy from people who race pigeons local would be better if possible

sure it tells of all the records for long races in the bhw year book i can't find mine :-/

i use marimans varimix it's quite expensive but i don't keep a lot of birds so like to give the best during the moult i will add barley in the next couple of weeks which will make it last longer

i put the whole carton of 250 ml in a two litre drinker

oh don,t tell me your fell for that old loft visit trick as well he has been in more lofts than joe murphy and keith mott put together he keeps saying he is rubbish at flying doo's and you lot all fall for it seven trophys says it all he would not tell you where a birds nest was the big celtic loving scrounger

half a tablet for the old birds only once or every third day

1/4 tablet for three days

no wonder he's winning he scrounges doo's from everbody :-/
