5th from 800 1st old bird race new to sport with little trainning. he might be new to this but i bet he knows a BAD APPLE when he sees one . not a bad start for someone in 1st old bird race in fact not a bad start to anyones old bird season weldone. some feds dont have 800 birds when the season gets further out.

i used to clean each day then i was at an old guys loft and seen his drinker it had greesish algi on bottom then speaking to a guy afew lofts down i said that old guys drinkers are minging .he said have a look at my drinkers and his was the same. he explaind why so now mine are the same. as for the vote at the top i see that one or 2 are telling lies as we all clean drinkers sooner or later

when you get your 1st yb back from a race .turn and look at your sons face and then ask your self was it worth it all the best in 09

if you had a bad race and lost 3 all reported .you had to send for all 3 their near£90 to get back 3 birds that are no good . a good pigeon flyer would give you the choice send for them or i will dispose of them for you.

fresh is best if stored even a little bit of mould picked up by bird then bird not well goes for a drink and then passes it on to others .then all birds not well at start of breeding season give me the 40 mile round trip any day or the delivery charge . this is just my opinion

my garden shed is bone dry yet the stalks were MOULDY so got put in bucket .the new ones i bought i put in microwave a hand full at a time for about 15 to 20 sec if you do this make sure wife is out as i my wife,s reaction is anything to go by.
