i use my local supplier craigmillar pet supplies. it has been explained to us in the shop how much profit is on a bag.i for one wont change from the £1 they make on a bag take of 2 cups of tea and a hand full of biscuits. i for one will stick by my local supplier.

all my pigeon food is in paper bags then i put paper bag in plastic bins. any seed in plastic bag or bin will sweat

well done the premier p.r.c and well done valiant with some top class results including top5 in fed. it shows you what can be done with a bit effort we will be getting club trophy,s in a cardboard box.it is looking like we will proberly get fed trophies the same way.

resting up what for the birds i have for this race only go to the 1st couple of ob races. the rest of the season the birds take it easy . at this time of year the birds come in to winter form flying 1 and a half hours to 2 hours round loft.this morning with all the rain no training birds let out flew 1 and a half hours round loft in the pouring rain before landing then having a bath. my lot get good food all year round no cut backs after season to the cheap mixes.if they should be resting someone needs to tell them. question did you let your birds have last winter resting up.if so type of season did you have in 09

might try it come breeding season

for flying ability i would say belgium high flayers . you can put them out in morning the birds will still be flying early evening .miles high above their lofts

beg to differ on this one jimmy. i did not waste grub this season and hopper fed right through with food in hopper 24 7.

it would still take an amazing bird to cover that distance with such a high velosity .as for 90 mph pigeons i dont think they them that came up with it done much research. if they where right and had pigeons that do 90 mph .can i have 2 yb,s for the help the hero,s sale .as they would go for top dollar

i used versalaga breed and wean this year .hopper fed them right through the season .their was food in hopper 24 7. when birds started to get trained to race and through racing i added emperor mix and Jerry plus.the birds would pick out what they new was best for the yb,s and feed them. as the older birds where raced to yb,s or eggs.i always had food in the hoppers. the birds know what seed to eat for themselves.the hoppers i used where deep not like the near flat ones you see for sale. it is also good for yb when they leave the nest as they are quick at picking up where the food is. it gets them sorted for going through to yb secsion.this is just my way of breeding and racing my birds.each to their own

unusual pigeons all in excellent condition.it must be hard work keeping their fethared feet clean.i wonder how they would do in a blow home

training today with my mate jim bell 12 birds 6 each 20.4 mile from basket to board.mealy back 1st to me the 2 to jim then another 2 to jim 10 min apart. at that point had to go was waiting on 5 jim on two.when we got back my 5 where back and 1 to jim. we recon the bird missing has been hit by bop. :-/

the birds come ok from training if the bops dont bother them.dropped one at race last year .either bop or shot as their is a lot of shooting on the estates on the 20th.time to basket birds
