Here we go again the time of year when we are asked to part with hard earned cash,after reading some for sale adverts in the pigeon press and net I have to wonder what you lads think of it all? A half truth deceives the reader by presenting something believable and using those aspects of the statement that can be shown to be true as good reason to believe the statements are true in entirety, first again, but no mention of first what ,if its club say so , how many members sent etc, if Fed the same. If it’s National we would all know anyway. When words like against the odds, crap location, massive overfly given away,fanciers are best to look at a map and find where the owner flies to, if he is not in the west what about the lads who are really in a crap position that’s the west, we are all aware that anyone in the west whether it’s the club, fed, or Nationalis usually are up against it and you would expect them to hint at that fact but seldom do I hear them mention it.Fanciers should take the time to ensure statements in an advert represent the whole truth. A person deceived by a half truth considers the advert to be fact. The pigeon press needs the revenue from advertising and most fanciers are 100% honest when compiling sale lists and good luck to them if they help to cover there costs it’s the lads who may be conned I worry about.

Pigeon fancier's ticking rucksack causes bomb scare at Dunblane train station Jul 29 2011 A major security alert was sparked when a pigeon fancier's rucksack was left on a train today. Police were called at around 9am by a railway worker. It is understood the bag had a timer inside which raised suspicion. Around five "emergency units" from the Scottish Ambulance Service headed to the scene at Dunblane train station in Stirlingshire this morning. The rucksack, which sources said belonged to a pigeon fancier, is now in lost property. A British Transport Police spokesman said: "We were contacted with a report of a suspicious package on an empty train. It was reported by a member of rail staff at Dunblane station. "Officers attended and the package is not suspicious."

Thanks. My main problem is that when I try to actually create a gallery (not upload the pics - that's the stage after, I assume) it doesn't allow me to do it. It just gives a message saying: "The following errors were found, please correct them: You are not allowed to post images in this category so there is no reason for you to create an album in it" The way I'm going about it is... I go into "My profile", click on "Edit my profile", click on the "Gallery" tab, then in the "Your Albums" section it says: "Click here to create your first album!" I click & it takes me to a window where it asks for album name, description etc. but then it just gives me the same message over & over again, denying me from creating a gallery to store my pictures in... All help is much appreciated! Where am I going wrong? Got it thanks lads.......

Thanks for directing me to this page. It tells me how to create an album, but even if I follow these steps it doesn't let me post... Why is this? Why does it say that only some members can post photographs?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out... I'm new to the forum & I thought I'd add some pictures to my gallery to share my photos with other users. However, every time I try to create a gallery it tells me that I can't post in that "category". I've tried everything! Changing the category, changing who can view the photos & changing the title of the album. Nothing works. Can someone please tell me where I'm going wrong? Is it a problem with my settings & if so, how do I sort it? Thanks in advance.
