  2. how can you determine if a pigeon is a long distance flyer or short distance flyer, as a young bird? is it by just looking at it? or by means of its pedigree. thanks gary

  4. you didnt mis read it rose. the worm came from that hen of mine after i dewormed her. now she is in good conditon . maybe im going to give her a rest in breeding.
  5. i noticed that this hen of mine becomes thin as days goes by. ive administered a wormer and the day after what i saw was almost 2 tablespoon of worm.. dead thin long woms. does this be the problem why she cannot lay or having a hard time laying its egg?
  6. isnt that what we call leg paralysis? a friend of mine has a pigeon suffering also from leg paralysis. just came form a race and suddenly cannot stand on its leg. does milk of magnesia will help ?

  12. is there any effect on pigeons where its loft is located in a place dark, not actually dark but sunlight cant penetrate to the loft.

  18. i have this problem with one of my breeder hen. when it is time to lay its egg, a certain flesh from inside its hole comes out which was the reason the the wont come out. i pressed the this flesh( is that what you called it or intestine?) inside by my finger and that is the only time it lays its egg. the problem is everytime it breeds im having hard time looking, waiting and helping for her to lay its egg. is there any solution for this problem? or do you have any experience like this? best regards gary
  19. ive seen fanciers here (not only one) uses fine sand on clay pots. the pots have no holes.
  20. does anyone here uses fine sand as nesting material for their breeding pigeons? what are the pros and cons in using fine sand..
