  1. Well done Gareth and everyone who entered, it was a really tough decision as the performances were excellent by everyone who took part and it caused a lot of discussion between us all. Best wishes to all Pigeon Basics members for a Happy Christmas and a successful 2015. Jeanette and the team at PC
  2. Thanks you to Pigeon Basics for allowing this post to continue, I would be happy to reciprocate should you need any messages relaying to your members in the future. The site was hacked but we are unsure of its source, it has been deep cleaned and is now reporting back as virus free following the exploit blackhole virus, however I will check with the server regarding the cloud issue, thank you. Meridklt I don't have any record of you being banned from Pigeon Chat and also have no knowledge of any emails requesting an account re-activation, I personally answer all emails and would be happy to look into this for you if you would like to email me at jeanette@oasislofts.freeserve.co.uk Thanks again Basics for your assistance, it is appreciated.
  3. You are better off putting the powder on your corn and moisten it with some oil.

    Buyer Beware.

He sends all the members emails or pm's offering them dvd's, he's banned off chat.
  5. All of those which is what my organisation has.
  6. Well done, great news they got my vote.
  7. I bought one and ended up sending it back because once the doors are shut there is a gap at the front and the hens kept jumping off the perches and getting stuck at the bottom. I think the actual perches need to be set further back so there is only a small gap between that and the door.
  8. Yes thank you.
  9. Bit of a deceiving heading that as the show is definitely on, weekend of the 18th & 19th December. The show birds were cancelled by the organisers and not the RP.
  10. My votes in, good luck to the A Team.
  11. Are you buying a new loft as well Tom?
  12. I've made a pigs ear of that race!
  13. M & D Evans did make a statement on Chat.
  14. Got mine from Boddy & Ridewood, they're really light and easy to use.
  15. Well done Walter, great result.
  16. I think you need to start by giving them a set amount at a set time, if they've got a constant supply of food they're not hungry so will just ignore you when you call them in. Keep them in for a day without exercise and just give then an ounce of food each to start off with to make them a bit keener, then you can increase it to an ounce and a quarter when you've got them under control. If I let mine out twice they get half an ounce after their morning exercise then three quarters at night, they don't mess about and come in when called. One of our members only gives his young birds an ounce all the time.
  17. Aww soooo cute, reminds me of my Border when she was a pup.
  18. Started with 28 widowhood cocks, 19 of those were yearlings. Got 5 older ones left and 8 yearlings. All of those yearlings were trained up and raced as babies last year.
  19. I use East Coast Software which I think is one of the best and easy to use.
  20. Aww he/she's so cute, lovely dog.
  21. I've had a rubbish season so far too, same thing as the others 5-10 minutes off the pace, no health problems. They had a hard race on Sunday, lost five so I'm thinking of giving them a break this week as it's the same race point, what do others think?
  22. I always put new youngsters in the loft at night when it's dark so that the others are perching and don't bother with them. Usually in the morning it's feeding time anyway so they're not bothered about the newcomers.

    Hormoform

  24. Well done to you both, what a lovely gesture.

    Hormoform

I wouldn't be without Hormoform when breeding, the birds love it and the babies are nice and fat and healthy. It does turn the birds which a white head a nice shade of pink though ;D ;D
