Hi' to all, my name is Jimmy Reid (Jimmuck) originally from Springburn, Glesga' and now 'flying' from my backyard on Lake Erie, Ontario, Canada. I used to fly Doos in Scotland, but shifted to Cage Birds before I emigrated to Canada late '68. See "Scotland's Own" 2000. My distance birds came from Andrew Lockhart of Larkhall's Kirkpatrick family in 1996 and are still doing the business for me, in fact, we have a good race coming up this weekend from Pickle Lake, Northern Ontario and will be roughly 1000-1100kms to my loft near Fort Erie. Check it out on your maps. I still dream of flying Rennes etc. all the Channel races but, I'd have to move home for that eh?? 8) Good Luck to all new members/ flyers and to the 'Horsman' who lost his birds to 'thieves'??
