how are we all dooing,im just researching about different ailments but i cant seem to find the answer im looking for, can pigeons contract pmv and adenovirus in there own loft like coci or canker can in the wrong conitions or can birs only get it by coming into contact with birds that have it.

ive not had a look yet used to be one of my most successful races until they changed the coarse and made it easier now anything can win i had won it 8 out of 10 years previous including the 100/1 mon mone but since they changed the coarse ive not won it since it used to take a very special horse to win this race and i was pretty good at identifying these types very early in the season so quite often got very good prices.ill have a look this week

verry good point showman im just reading so much things telling me to get this and that because im new to all this i want to get it right from the start i dont want to make the mistakes that could have been avoided had i just asked

this is what i thought would be the case with deep litter and why im siding with fibreglass floor the fibreglass can be scraped and scrubed with a light vircon solution then dryd im going to line my boxes with fiberglass aswell

its ok i found them i think i might give these a go with fibreglass floor thanks

thanks for the replys i was thinking of puting down a fibreglass floor but i had noticed alot of people use easy bed deef litter i would have thought it would hold moisture thats why i asked.so with deep liter or loft granules does the littr need siffted through regularly. im siding towards bare fibreglass floor with twice a day scraping.

im in 2 minds about my loft floor what are the pros and cons of deep litter like easibed or even aubiose and straw or just a bare floor fiberglass or wood i cant make up my mind which is best for the birds health wise.thanks

goo morning all how long would you leave them paired up for if the hen dsnt lay the rest are sitting on eggs but one hen still hasnt layed the pair dnt seem interested in each other an i have a spare hen at the moment im just wondering if it woul be ok to pair the cock to the spare hen or leave the pair as they are an wait for hen to lay they been paired up for over 10 days but they just dnt seem into each other like the others.

im planing on fibreglass floor and nest boxes in my loft next couple of weeks il let you know how it goes
