Central Fed will be holding a breeder buyer competition for the new 2022 season. This will consist of an online auction running from Sunday the 27th Feb for 7 days. Prize money for the competition will be £1000 split 50/50 between the breeder & buyer. Coxydene Farm feeds are sponsoring the event and have kindly donated a £50 voucher which will be split between the breeder & buyer. The overall winning pigeon will be judged on performances throughout the young bird program and will also include performances from the SNFC & SNRPC young bird nationals respectively. The breeder & buyer can be the same fancier and the boundaries are open to all feds in Scotland which means you can compete with the pigeon in your own federation, this is to make things more appealing to the wider fancy. We will also be taking phone bids to allow fanciers without computer access the same opportunity to place a bid. We do ask that the fancier flying the pigeon keep note of all performances achieved and submits the details once the nationals are concluded to either myself, Allan Orr or Martyn Brown. Due to holding our auction online it is the buyers responsibility to make collection arrangements with the breeder. Obviously we don't expect birds to be ready by the 27th of Feb but this give all fanciers the flexibility of exchanging birds when they are ready. A trophy for the fancier flying the overall winning pigeon will be presented. Once the sale is concluded the buyer will have until the 1st of June to provide the ring number to allow us to log all details. I aim to put a small advert in the BHW a couple of weeks before the auction with all lot numbers and the names of fanciers that have kindly donated. If you are interested either DM myself with your name and a contact number or drop me a text on 07921224708. Yours in sport Allan Orr, Bo'ness HS / Central Fed

Looking to speak to someone about the ins and outs of running an online sale. Regards Allan

Heart of a lion. People out with the fancy are amazed when they hear what this little warrior achieved. Heart warming story.

Congratulations well done trophy winners
-
Thanks for all the help guys
-
Yes will do Andy. Also tried the places that cater specifically for lofts and they don't seem to be selling them. Phoned body and Ridgewood today and they to have stopped selling the timers.
-
Thanks Andy, I can see the exact one we have on a site called the birdroom but out of stock. Thanks I'll keep looking
-
Does anyone have a spare dimmer unit or know of anyone selling one? Ours has packed in and body and Ridgewood have stopped producing and also tried a few other places but no such luck. Any help on this matter would be much appreciated. Allan Orr
