Hey Blaz you givin away my 2014 ybs only kiddin. If you have any spare next year I'll take some more, super quality Tony Still have all 6, training realy well 1st young bird race this saturday I'll let you know how they get on
Hi lm looking for a bit of advice. My young birds are very mature, been on the dark, all they seem to want to do is *expletive removed* they're brains out. I've split em up I dont want the young hens laying What do the rest of you do? Tony
Hi Owen can you tell me what method you use for selecting the young hens for breeding? The obvious answer is the ones that win races. I read somewhere some rate there birds results as a percentage. If a bird consistantly gets the top 10% club / fed I'd be interested in your thoughts Tony
Hi I'm sure this has been asked before, what is the best depth fo a landing board. Its my next job for the weekend I read somewhere that if the board is too narrow it makes the birds land on the loft roof Tony
I'm just mulling over the internal layout of my new loft it started life as a 12x6 shed, i'm just about to put a tiled roof on it. I've got 12 van reet young birds on order for Feb. I'm after a bit of input is 12x6 too small for 3 sections? Come the end of 2013 season am I looking at another loft to split old and young birds up Tony
Just thought I'd say hello from Worcestershire. I'm about two weeks away from getting my loft up. I've kept pigeons years ago, looking forward to racing again Tony
