  1. i think that the program was one of the best i have seen about pigeons on TV. but people are right the RPRA need to advertise the sport more and stop what programs there are on TV talk about pigeons as flying rats etc
  2. sent 15 to saintes with solent fed 353 miles sent 2 to palamos 649 miles
  3. does anyone know of the times in the BBC Poitiers race

    Returns today.

14 out of 15 solent fed tours 253 miles 4 out of 4 BBC Poitiers 302 miles
  5. what sort of distance did the parents fly to the breeders loft in belgum?
  6. 13 out of 13 from lessay today
  7. in my opinion a bit of cloud at racepoint doesn't hurt a pigeon ans once they are racing a shower will be no probs be they will carry fighting their way through it. i didn't have a bad race today a bit behind but got 13 out of 13 but this was not the race i wanted as my pigeons have got more distance blood and from messac onwards or there abouts is where thay start to perform.
  8. sorry just a bit stressed over the whole situation we're holding over nearly every week the birds that are racing today have now got to be jumped to tours (253 miles) for their next race. i don't believe thats fair but the two come back races are from lessay before our two biggest races
  9. i don't know i'd rather gone from messac yesterday the reason they held over was because apprently the classic birds were still flying around the lib site at 12:45. what i want to know is if that is the case why did the welsh national let go at 12:55 and why were there 198 first birds recorded last night in the classic and it was won down here in portsmouth.
  10. to my knowledge after being the only fed to hold over in france yesterday the solent fed have moved back from messac (211 miles) to lessay (113) this morning and have liberated at 10:35 in a L N E wind
  11. they are doing about the same speeds as the leaders of the CSCFC. i just wondered because obviosly your birds were released and we were no lib because a vast majority of the classic birds had not left the race point. just got a bit confused because from what i can find out we are the only fed still in france
  12. just to see how their return from messac were today as i race with the solent fed and they held our birds over as these were liberated due to the cscfc birds still flying around the race point 2 hours later.
  13. just wondered if anybody knew if the Welsh South Road National had a website? if so would they be so kind as to tell me thanks

  16. so it could be a quick race then if thats the case
  17. just wondered if anyone would be able to help me if it is a strong North East wind like yesterday how can all this rain becoming across from france to us which is in the south?
  18. lookin at the wind though it has turn to a SW wind
  19. yeah the channel looks pretty clear from where i live in portsmouth. fingers crossed it is a good race we have had some really quick velocities in the fed this season
  20. thanks
  21. i'm in the solent fed we're up today at 9am into variable winds. its the same thing there a couple of hours break in the weather down here should be enough time to get the birds through i hope
