i've still only got five at the moment so really considering not racing anymore this season as i won't have any yearlings for next year. but the way i look at things if 5 can make it the other 10 should be here but we will wait and see what happens

i only race just over 110 miles

just wondered how peoples returns are? i race in the solent fed and we libbed at 8am from guernsey up to this moment in time i have 5 out of 15. first one doing over 4 hours and i know of 10 + members not even clocked in

the first bird recorded was in france at 6.02am our time flying 942km. i worked that out at 585 miles which is 36.56mph

just had the phone call to say that the solent fed have heldover at messac. when i asked for a reason the person with the phone call said that they have not been given any reason why. i have been watching the webcams since 6am and it is clear all the way through with just a bit of cloud. seem to get the feeling the fed has just heldover because of the NFC holding and looking at the weather next chance of lib will prob be wednesday.

The above numbered pigeon came in this morning after hanging around the lofts for a couple of days. looks like it has been out a while as its covered in mud and very thin.

is that the main race point it was at the front of the BHW bout 3 weeks ago saying change of lib site and the new code as i need to put distances on my club computer

just wondered if anyone can tell me the code for exeter liberation point as it changed a couple of weeks ago and i have misplaced my BHW and don't know what distances will have to be used for the race

no exactly it one of those questions that can't be answered saying that they must still be out there as i sent to bergerac 2 weeks ago had 6 missing and one has just in the past five minutes dropped in shattered

this whole season has been the same in my club i have the most oldens left and i have lost half my team. the one i have left were the ones at the start i said we would loose apart from 1. the pigeons i regarded as my best are not here but it proves i thought wrong because in my eyes the best are here

shame all fanciers aren't like gangster at least we would know what has happened to our pigeons

pthere is no need for people to do a thing like that all i can say is if it was a pigeon fancier then they shouldn't be in the sport and that they must be very jealous of you pigeons.

i also spoke to someone from southampton this morning and they trained 38 from bournmouth bout 40 miles and they have only got 8 home from there

just between three of the members that have sent there is 30 home and between 60 - 70 missing. and the thing that make me laugh all the ones i have got are only between 4 - 5 months old and the one i am missing 6 - 6 1/2 months old.

just wondered if anyone knows if there was any problems down the west side yesterday as few members from portsmouth and surrounding parts of the south had a training toss yesterday from dorchetser (60 miles) and there are load missing first birds didn't come through for about two hours this was preperation for the first race saturday and i am most of my team missing.
