never charged batteries up since last feb 08 using solar panels,75watt panels gets a good charge,it powers lights tv digi box elec fan and the ets, etc,you need good batterys, to do the job,no problems been on 2years now,on the allotments

more dodgy rings in this club,different member,wait till racing starts.all rings were cleared after training so theres a dodgy batch of rings out there,this is not just a one off, there is a few members with the odd ring not working,and its got nowt to do with not being allocated,DODGY BATCH.

sorry, unikon rings,from blackpool stand, allocated to pigeon in the system,one ring worked one day not the next,checked pads,working, checked cables,other rings working,just as well theres spares handy 8)

has anyone had problems with ets rings, new this year from blackpool,on testing the system as training two days on the trot ,two failed, rings cleaned one with water then worked,set the system again same two failed,so all you chaps with new toys,you need to check,or lose on a race day,cheers 8)

thanks lads,the problem is weve been told that we cant have another,laptop running this system,in this club,with ring details,so for instance, a national race and the system goes down,you need a back up,youve got to have back up,whats the point in paying a fortune out for systems with no backup,with all relevant details on another computer you can carry on,,so do your clubs have a back up or does unikon or the unions have rules in place for such matters,the question concerned came from a unikon rep/union office

this is a question to all clubs who use these systems,do you use a laptop or computer for running this system,if yes ,what happens when the laptop or computer decides not to work,do you have a back up,if yes does your back up have the same program for ets with ring no s loaded,any replys welcome as we have an issue with the system, thanks :X

im connected on to one 75watt panel, it keeps two batterys charged,large 12v, i use a 150w power converter,it powers 6, 8-9 watt low energy bulbs which are 240v, a portable colour telly ,and the radio, first class for early mornings and late nights,or if you get kicked out of the house 8) some have elec extractor fans going and sat tv, what next 8)

does anyone know if the scottish stray centre in gretna green, i believe it was, is still in service,not sure if it was run by members,our old sec used to collect nehu pigeons from there a few years ago, any help welcome
